Religious Education classes offer children in Kindergarten through eighth grades the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus Christ in groupings with their peers. They are companioned on this journey by the example of many parishioners who serve as catechists who volunteer to share their faith as teachers and helpers. These members of our parish are provided training and resource materials to prepare them for the time spent with the young people.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION POLICIES
The most important way that we bring the love of Jesus Christ
to our children is through our examples of faith.
As Catholic families we have a responsibility to
attend Mass every weekend.
We teach the children that it is a sin to miss Mass.
Courtesy and Respect for all, in and out of the
classroom is expected. We will especially stress
the importance of good manners in word and deed.  Student's attendance, respect, attention, and participation will be expected for a variety of liturgical experiences. Parents are encouraged to join their children for the scheduled monthly Prayer Services.

Please refer to your current Religious Ed Caledndar for a more complete listing of policies for the in class policies.

There will be times when the public schools are scheduled
to be closed but we WILL have class.
However, when Harford County public schools are closed or close early due to bad weather, our classes will automatically be cancelled. If the weather worsens after
schools have dismissed for the day, radio station WBAL and WBAL-TV will carry our announcement of cancellations.
